Here is a quick guide to the main functions of your ProcessNow mobile swiper:
- In app (Process Now Mobile)
- Transactions
- Select Purchase
- Select an item you have created or select ‘+item’
- When selecting ‘+item’ input the item name and price
- Select Continue to get to the next screen
- Select Continue again to get to the Card screen
- Swipe the card if you have a swiper or key in the card #, address and zip code
- Select signature
- Have the customer sign on the phone and select Charge
- If the customer wants an emailed receipt put in their email and select Send Receipt Option
- Voids (refunding transactions from the same day)
- To void a transaction go to History
- Find the transaction to void and select VOID (Void option can take a few minutes to appear)
- Settings
- Make sure the card reader is set to Shuttle (unless the swiper has Process Now written on it)
- You can update tax and default description is settings
- Download items and transaction history in settings
- Transactions
- Online Portal (https://Mobile.processnow.com)
- Reports
- Select View Transactions to view reports – you can export to excel or PDF
- NOTE – Reports DOES NOT show description of items only basic transaction info and device name
- Device name
- Under manage devices you can assign each individual device a name to identify transactions ran on that phone
- Adding products
- Under manage products you can add products that can be transferred to the phone for easy transacting
- Changing email
- Under manage users you can change the email address and password for logging in
- Changing receipt info
- Under Merchant/Transaction settings you can update info such as email address where receipts are sent and the receipts themselves
