Dejavoo is proud to offer a secure payment integration called SPin that allows for quick EMV integration for third party devices like restaurant kiosks, tablets, and other POS systems. Here's how to use the SPin integration with your Z11:
Sale:
1. The terminal will read "POS Online" until you wake it up to perform a sale transaction via the POS system
2. Swipe or dip the card or key in the card number
3. DEBIT ONLY: When prompted, press Yes
4. DEBIT ONLY: Have customer enter PIN using PIN pad and press OK
5. Press OK to confirm sale amount
6. If an AVS (Address Verification Service) prompt appears, enter the requested information
7. The terminal will process the transaction
8. Have the customer sign on the screen, if applicable
9. The receipts will print
Void:
1. The terminal will read "POS Online" until you wake it up to perform a void transaction via the POS system
2. If prompted, enter the password: 1234
3. The void will process and the receipts will print
Refund:
1. The terminal will read "POS Online" until you wake it up to perform a refund transaction via the POS system
2. If prompted, enter the password: 1234
3. Insert or swipe the card or key in the card number
4. Press OK to confirm the refund amount
5. If prompted, enter the card PIN and press OK
6. The terminal will process the transaction
7. Have the customer sign on the screen, if applicable
8. The receipts will print
Settling a Batch:
1. From the POS Online screen, press the Favorites icon (looks like a star)
2. Press CORE SETTLE DAILY BATCH
3. If prompted, enter the password: 1234
4. The terminal will process the transaction and the receipts will print
Printing Reports:
1. From the POS Online screen, press OK
2. Press REPORTS
3. Select the report you want to print
4. If prompted, enter the password and press OK: 1234
5. The report will print
Bypassing SPin to Run a Standalone Transaction (useful if POS system is down):
1. From the POS Online screen, press the Favorites icon (looks like a star)
2. Press Turn SPin Bypass One
3. Terminal will show "Credit I Sale, Enter Amount"
4. You can now enter the transaction amount and process the card
Reprint Receipts:
1. From the POS Online screen, press the Favorites icon (looks like a star)
2. Press REPRINT CR/DB RECEIPT
3. If prompted, enter the password and press OK: 1234
4. Select the desired options and press OK
5. The receipt will print
