My Verifone VX 520 receipts are printing too faintly - I can barely read them. What can I do?

You can program your VX 520 to print darker receipts. Here's how:

1. From the main sale screen, press F2 and F4 at the same time

2. Enter the password. If you're using the default password, it is 1, alpha, alpha, 6, 6, 8, 3, 1.

3. Press 1 to select Edit Parameters

4. Press Enter to select Group ID:_1

5. Enter your password again

6. Press Enter when the screen reads "File Config.Sys:"

7. Press 1 for New

8. Enter Parameter: *DARK and press Enter

9. Enter Value: 6 and press Enter

10. Press Cancel

11. Press 3 to restart
