Credit Sale:
1. Be sure the terminal is on the "Idle" prompt
2. Initiate the sale through the POS software
3. Insert, swipe, or key in card (if inserted, keep card inserted throughout entire transaction)
4. When the "Transaction Approved" message appears, press Enter to print the customer receipt or press Cancel if no receipt is desired
Note: If the card is manually keyed, the device may ask for additional information, including:
- Card present? Y or N
- CVV2
- Address
- Zip code
Note: If the card is a corporate or government card, the device may ask for additional information, including:
- PO number
- Customer ID
- EMV PIN
Debit Sale:
1. Be sure the terminal is on the "Idle" prompt
2. Initiate the sale through the POS software
3. Have the customer swipe their card
4. The device will prompt the customer to enter their PIN
5. When the "Transaction Approved" message appears, press Enter to print the customer receipt or press Cancel if no receipt is desired
